The history of the company begins in 1958 when Kjell Dahlberg, captain of a Swedish yacht, sailed by sailboat from Stockholm to San Remo and on that journey the boat broke down, having to make a mandatory stopover in Palma for repairs. He had to stay on the island for a year where he would meet his future wife, the Mallorcan Rosa Coll. After some time in Sweden, the couple settled permanently in Mallorca where they started a family and created their own company.

Thus, a pioneering company in the repair and maintenance of yachts in Mallorca was born, whose workshop was initially located in the center of Palma. In 1980, her first daughter, Margarita, joined the company, after training in England at the factory of the prestigious firm B&G, becoming the first woman to obtain the company's Official Technical Service certificate.

In 1984, Dahlberg was established and its activity focused on the repair and installation of B&G brand electronic equipment . Already in 1989 , with the incorporation of the youngest daughter Rosa, the company was divided into two large areas: on the one hand, the electronic division and on the other the sanitation division. Later, he also specialized in comfort on board and safety at sea.

An important turning point in Dahlberg's career was the obtaining, in 2003, of ISO 9001 for all its departments, becoming one of the first companies in the sector to achieve this. This accreditation made it possible to standardize work protocols and gain efficiency, still working today in accordance with the standards set at that time.

In 2006 the company changed its headquarters, moving to the Son Rossinyol Business Park. The company had 17 contracted workers and supplied practically all of the shipyards in Spain.

Currently, the third generation is joining the company, learning and contributing with their contributions to the constant improvement of the service offered to its clients.

The extensive knowledge and intense experience of Margarita Dahlberg, current executive director and CEO of Dahlberg, led her to chair the Association of Nautical Companies of the Balearic Islands (AENIB) from 1999 to 2017, an entity that brings together companies in the nautical sector of the Balearic Islands. Today, he continues to be part of the Board of Directors. In addition, Margarita is a member of the Board of Directors of the Balearic Marine Cluster, a business initiative created to position the Balearic Islands as a hub for the nautical industry and strengthen its international competitive position.
