This standard covers waste retention systems for sanitary installations on pleasure boats or boats of smaller vessels. Sewage holding tanks are increasingly mandatory in some European countries, and the requirements are as follows:

Tank filling indication.

Deposit access registration, larger than 75mm.

Siphon device.

Air connection diameter larger than 20mm.

Tank identification (ISO, manufacturer, model, capacity, etc).
