Sailing in summer is one of the best ways to enjoy the sun, the breeze, the silence of the sea... But for the experience to be perfect, everything must be well prepared.

Before you head out, check the essentials: engine, battery, fuel levels, and fuel (we recommend carrying an extra 20% just in case). Make sure you have all the safety equipment: life jackets, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and a life raft in good condition. And don't forget the radio beacon: it must be visible and operational.

Even if the plan is to improvise, it's a good idea to plan a route and notify someone on the ground. Check the weather forecast and have your VHF on channel 16 handy. Communication is part of safety.

Sunbathing at sea demands attention. Therefore, you must also take care by wearing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and water. Lots of water.

And, of course, respect the environment. Leave no waste, avoid polluting products, and browse with consideration for others.

The sea is freedom, but it also demands responsibility. Enjoy it to the fullest, with both your head and your heart.
