The latest version of TZ iBoat for iPad and iPhone, based on user feedback and suggestions, has made some improvements.

New quick access to exits

Many users use the “Outings” feature so much that it was difficult to find a specific outing in the list. Now, a new “access by date” button allows you to sort your outings chronologically (month, year) so you can easily find them.

New MOB functionality
(Man Overboard = Man overboard)

Many of you have asked for this feature, which is now available as a new “gesture feature”. A MOB can be created by double-tapping on the screen with two fingers. Quick and easy in case of emergency. We recommend following the tutorial to activate this feature.

New “Lists and Search” button

The “Search” feature has been renamed “Lists and Search” as it was noticed that many users were unaware that this feature could display user-created objects such as landmarks, routes and areas.

Other improvements

– AIS color has been improved, they were not visible at night.

– AIS: The heading shown in the tooltip is now relative to North.

– Bug fix: When moving the time bar, the map would sometimes move.
