Simrad®, expands its GO series with the new GO12 XSE and GO7 XSR plotters

The screens are larger and incorporate the latest technologies, they are easy to use and multi-touch.

The GO12 brings a new 12-inch display to the GO series and the GO7 XSR features a new glass-helm design, compatible with radar.

Their screens are ultra-bright and the interface is very friendly with an intuitive multi-touch menu that can be used from a smartphone or tablet, that is, they combine powerful functionality at an affordable price. In addition, you can view charts, create and/or select waypoints, zoom in and move around the chart, with quick access to all features.

Compatible with both 3G and 4G™ Broadband Radar as well as Halo Radar, the new GO12 XSE and GO7 automatic, engine data monitoring, connectivity to the SonicHub ® 2 audio and entertainment system, integrated wireless connectivity and Simrad's powerful TripIntel TM processor.

They work with the NMEA2000 ® language which connect to all compatible sensors and display engine data, fuel flow, fluid level, speed, heading and water temperature. When it comes to mapping, a wide variety of options are available including C-MAP ® .

Fishing enthusiasts can benefit from the integrated sonar by adding a suitable transducer. Waypoints can be marked by reviewing the depth history to mark them. The all-in-one TotalScan™ transducer offers complete underwater vision to anglers, including CHIRP sonar and StructureScan® HD for photo-quality images of the bottom on both sides and below the boat with DownScan Imaging™. Additionally, ForwardScan™ sonar technology built into the units (transducer sold separately) provides a forward view with clear, two-dimensional images of the underwater bottom in front of the boat, helping you navigate with confidence through shallow waters or unexplored and locate safe places to anchor.

The GO7, GO9 and GO12 chartplotters now have a new additional feature called VelocityTrack for Halo pulse compression radar systems. Using the Doppler effect, VelocityTrack allows Halo radar to determine whether a target is approaching, receding, or stationary relative to the vessel. Approaching targets are automatically highlighted on screen, with the option to de-emphasize receding or receding targets. It is the perfect complement to MARPA: VelocityTrack provides an immediate view of all moving targets, making it easier to detect relevant targets and ignore those that do not pose a collision risk.
