How to best sell and repair toilet and sewage systems?” An initiative to learn and share experiences.
This post is to tell you about an initiative that we have done at Dahlberg SA and from which we have obtained many positive things. The organization of the course to improve sales and repair techniques in marine sanitation
The course has been aimed at a profile of professionals in the nautical sector who are dedicated to marketing, repairing, installing and maintaining the toilet and sewage systems of boats.
First of all we want to thank all the participants who have made the success of the call possible. And we allow ourselves to talk about success because during the day on March 7, around twenty professionals specialized in marine sanitation gathered at our Dahlberg SA facilities located in the Son Rossinyol Industrial Estate in Palma de Mallorca.
We believe that the experience has been very positive since there was a lot of participation and dynamism and the problems that technicians usually encounter with this type of sanitary equipment on ships were exposed.
The objective we had set at Dahlberg SA was to provide course participants with the necessary tools to expand their existing knowledge about the new generation of marine toilets, the repair and installation of Vacuflush vacuum toilet systems, electric toilets and tanks. of black water.
The course began with the presentation of the new products on the market, and later the technical and practical part was carried out.
Making a quick summary of the day, we highlight that attendees received the necessary guidelines regarding hygiene and safety protection for operators and a series of maintenance tips to avoid problems such as traffic jams or bad odors.
It was also identified which types of toilets are the most optimal for each type of ship and what material the septic tanks should be made of so that they do not cause inconvenience.
At the same time, other topics were also discussed, such as carrying out a correct design in a sanitation facility and making known which “problem-solving” accessories are recommended to be installed to avoid scares and setbacks.
There was also a practice part to know how to act when a problem appears and find the most effective way to repair it.
Finally, the participants received practical advice necessary for the installation of a sanitation hose (hose heater) and the verification of a Vacuum system with the Vacuum Meter.
It has been a great event for the exchange of information and experiences. We have also learned a lot.
Thank you very much to all. We will repeat!
