What does your boat smell like?
We fantasize all year long about that idyllic journey, about anchoring in the best cove in the Mediterranean, or about that perfect nap, lightly rocked by the rhythm of the waves. A magical moment, right? But… what if we add to that scene a nauseating smell of sewage? Things change, don’t they?
At Dahlberg we know that all boating enthusiasts take advantage of any opportunity to take their boat out to sea, which is why they must make sure it is in perfect condition. But in addition to taking care of the sails, maintaining the engine or cleaning the hull, you also have to take into account the maintenance of other areas such as everything related to sinks and toilets.
In Dahlberg we are

specialised in the sale, installation and repair of sanitary facilities. A very important element, since especially in summer many hours are spent on board the boat, and logically the toilet is used more. Our guests are unaware of this, but owners, captains and crew know well that if there is no maintenance of all the elements, they will have to hope that there is no blockage that could ruin any pleasant journey.
Our experience has shown that many boaters do not know exactly how many rinses a holding tank can hold, as this depends on the type of toilet installed on the boat and its consumption. In addition to Dometic and Sanimarin/SFA, Dahlberg is an official distributor of Adinet products , which prevent blockages and bad odours.
It should be noted that, according to current regulations, any type of discharge of black, grey or bilge water is strictly prohibited in ports and before the first three miles from the coast. The discharge of black water must be carried out beyond 3 miles provided that the vessel is equipped with a grinding and disinfection system, otherwise it would be necessary to sail past the coast until reaching 12 miles or more. It is recommended to use the systems available in port facilities capable of aspirating and collecting grey, black and bilge water.

At Dahlberg we work to guarantee maximum performance and safety in all sanitary installations, ensuring a correct and efficient installation of all systems . Do not hesitate to contact us for information on any spare parts or maintenance advice, as we are backed by hundreds of satisfied captains and our extensive specialization and knowledge of sanitary systems.
In addition, at Dahlberg we will advise you so that you can sail without any bad smells that may be generated by the different elements of your boat's bathroom, not only with the installation of a toilet that suits your needs, but we will also inform you of the existing cleaning products that you can use in your daily life, such as biodegradable toilet paper or specific products to clean pipes and the grey water tank, thus avoiding blockages and dreaded bad smells.
