There, the absorbed heat is released into the atmosphere. The refrigerant liquefies again and flows to the evaporator, where the cycle begins again.

For this reason, the temperature-generating parts of thermoelectric systems are called “Peltier elements”. Thermoelectric systems are based on the fact that, by conducting a direct current between different types of metal, cold or heat is generated. The heating or cooling power is increased by heat exchangers and air fans. This is ideal for small and medium cooling volumes.
