As is tradition, Dahlberg has had a prominent participation in the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS), a key event for the global nautical industry that has just been held from 25 to 28 April at the Moll Vell in the Balearic capital.

This edition is doubly special for Dahlberg, as it coincides with the 40th edition of the nautical fair and marks the 50th anniversary of the company founded by Kjell Dahlberg, a pioneer and visionary of the Balearic nautical sector. Our CEO, Margarita Dahlberg, says: “Over the past few days I have been proud to see what this fair has become and how the sector has grown. I have a very special memory of my father, who was able to foresee the potential that sailing would have on our islands well in advance.” Margarita played a decisive role in the development of this nautical fair as president of the Association of Nautical Companies of the Balearic Islands (AENIB), a position she held for more than two decades.

During these four days, At Dahlberg we have presented various new features in electronics, comfort and safety. Standing out among them, the NSX Ultrawide display from the Simrad brand , which offers a large active area equivalent to two smaller screens, and the B&G Zeus 3S high-speed chartplotter , designed specifically for sailing.

In terms of onboard connectivity, we have showcased the SailaLite antenna , which allows receiving 5G data at long distance from the coast, and the Hydra antenna mount , which combines the Starlink antenna with 5G, offering innovative solutions at affordable prices.

In the area of ​​comfort, we have presented the new NRX 50 fixed refrigerator , with innovative design and superior energy efficiency, as well as the Patrol portable refrigerator , sought after for its robustness and high performance, capable of keeping ice for more than 48 hours, both models from our partner Dometic.

In security, we have highlighted the innovative Jotron Tron 60AIS radio beacon , equipped with AIS, a product in high demand given the legislative changes that will make it mandatory to carry on board a device with an AIS and GPS automatic vessel identification system.

Once again this year, we are distinguished by the unmistakable display of electric and vacuum toilets from Dometic, as well as electric toilets from SFA.

It has certainly been a good opportunity for the entire Dahlberg team to enjoy the company of well-known figures from the Balearic nautical sector. Over the four days, we have received visits from politicians, professionals, clients, suppliers and friends interested in our wide range of products.
