We believe that you already know this by now, and that is that our company was founded in 1974. This means that this year, in Dahlberg, we celebrate no less than 50 years of journey, a journey thanks to which we could write a book about our history, providing many anecdotes. That is why we ask you a question: do you know how we work to gain and maintain the trust of enthusiasts and professionals in the nautical sector? In our case, the answer is clear: by betting on having a great team. Thanks to the professionals who make up the Dahlberg team, we have qualified and expert profiles in each area of work.
Dahlberg distinguishes itself within the nautical industry for its four divisions: electronics, sanitation, rescue and comfort . Although each section has its own specific responsibilities and objectives, the real magic of Dahlberg lies in how these departments intertwine and collaborate with each other to offer a comprehensive service.
You could say that everything starts in the sales department, where customer calls and requests are answered. From there, the entire process is meticulously monitored. As explained by Malén Llompart, director of expansion and development : “I act as a link between logistics and sales and act as a connection between the two departments.” Malén is responsible for customer service, budgeting, internal and external communication, and strategic business planning, among other things.
After this initial contact with the client, their requests are collected so that the logistics department can confirm the availability of the order or request units from suppliers. “We manage purchases with our suppliers, arrival and classification in the warehouse and subsequent shipping to the customer or directly to their installation,” he explains. Cristina Noguera, head of the logistics department , who adds that in the end her main job is that “the customer receives a specific product within the agreed time frame.”
The delivery or installation is then coordinated with the technical department, led by Toni Lopera, Our experienced technical director , who has been with Dahlberg for 40 years. In addition, in recent years, we have added talent to this area by incorporating a team of professionals who strengthen the technical department.
Although each department has its own specific functions, one thing that all Dahlberg employees value equally is the dynamic nature of their work. “Every day is different, which keeps the excitement and interest in our work alive. In addition, the good atmosphere is palpable; we consider ourselves a true family united by our passion and dedication to our work,” acknowledges Toni Lopera.
