This year marks 40 years of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE , one of the most important high-level regattas in the Mediterranean. In this edition, 109 boats of nine classes participated in three racing areas in the bay of Palma.

One of the best known racing sailboats is the Aifos 500 , in which HM King Felipe VI sails as helmsman. This boat, like the Tenacious , it is equipped with  B&G instruments, which with its specific functions for sailing, quickly obtains the essential data for sailors.
