GP-1670F Discontinuity
The FURUNO GPS/PLOTER/PROBE equipment, model GP-1670F , has been discontinued, and units and spare parts can no longer be ordered.
The rest of the teams in this series: GP-1670, GP-1870 and GP-1870F They will continue to be marketed normally, with no scheduled date for their discontinuation. For these devices, there is a special offer on transducers and C-MAP 4D charts, when purchased together with the device.
Launch of new FURUNO radars (NOT SOLAS) of the FAR-15×3 series
We present the new family of navigation radars in the series FAR-15×3 (NOT ALONE), which will be available in two versions: FAR-1513BB and FAR-1523BB with 12kW and 25kW transmitters respectively and available for 24Vdc power.They incorporate advanced technology for target tracking (TT) and an automatic interference elimination (ACE) function similar to those available in the FURUNO FAR-3000 Chart Radar, which represents a significant advance in terms of functionality in this range of equipment. . They have automatic or manual acquisition capacity of up to 50 ARPA targets and presentation capacity of up to 300 AIS targets. The control units, completely redesigned, incorporate a touch panel (touchpad), which facilitates its durability and facilitates intuitive operation of the equipment. Launch of new FURUNO (SOLAS) radars models FAR-1518 and FAR-1525.
The new family of navigation radars in the series FAR-15×8 (SOLAS) complies with Cat. 2 for installation on ships between 500 and 10,000 GRT and with Cat. 3 for ships less than 500 GRT. It will be available in two versions: FAR-1518BB and FAR-1528BB with 12kW and 25kW transmitters respectively and available for power supply at both 24Vdc and 220Vac.
They replace the previous F-1510 and FR-1525 series radars.
The functionalities are the same as the product presented previously, with the addition that it allows the overlay of the radar image on the ECDIS to which it is connected.
The first units are now available, but the power required must be specified at the time of order, since prices will vary from one model to another.
